Dr. Brad Hines

Dr. Brad Hines is a board-certified veterinary internal medicine specialist (Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) who partners with Red Rock Veterinary Health to perform advanced ultrasound and internal medicine procedures on-site. Through our partnership with Mobile Veterinary Imaging of Colorado — the practice Dr. Hines owns — he brings abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, echocardiograms, and ultrasound-guided procedures directly into our Colorado Springs hospital.

Dr. Hines has three decades of experience as a small animal internal medicine specialist, including advanced ultrasound training in abdominal and cardiac imaging as well as ultrasound-guided procedures. He attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State University, followed by a rotating internship at Auburn University and an internal medicine residency at Purdue University. After board certification he practiced at a Dallas specialty center for 13 years before moving to Colorado, where he was affiliated with Southern Colorado Veterinary Internal Medicine for 17 years.

Red Rock Veterinary Health is the only Fear Free Certified practice in Colorado Springs to offer an on-site board-certified internist who welcomes owners to stay present during their pet's ultrasound.
